The Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 is a longer-term strategic plan, approved by the Bangladesh government in 2018. It has been prepared by the General Economics Division (GED) of the Bangladesh Planning Commission and is supported by the Government of The Netherlands. BDP 2100 is a combination of long-term strategies and short-medium-long term interventions for ensuring long term water and food security, economic growth and environmental sustainability while effectively reducing vulnerability to natural disasters and building resilience to climate change and other delta challenges through robust, adaptive and integrated strategies, and equitable water governance.
SIBDP2100- Support to the implementation of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 is the 2nd phase of the project where an adaptive basin management programme is being developed.
