Within the JCP an Incubator fund has been reserved, intended for the development of additional research ideas into feasible projects. The incubator facility also has the goal to create and develop new partnerships by developing promising knowledge initiatives in support of the overall JCP objective. For these incubator project partner organizations submitted few proposals and these proposals were assessed and ranked by a JCP review committee. The committee reviewed the proposals, scored and ranked these in an overall evaluation matrix. The committee then proposed the selection of 3 projects:
1. Spatial Planning and Preparation of Development Plan for newly emerged stable Char in the Estuary,
2. Managed Aquifer Recharge in the Barind region: identification of technical designs and potential for upscaling,
3. Land Use Change Knowledge – JCP-LUCK – Visualizing land use change for BDP2100 by improving land use modelling.
